I am now more active because I recently downloaded the Twitter app on my phone to keep up with the latest news. I still access Facebook only on my computer, which explains why I’m not as active here. Before sharing it, I did a quick reverse image search, but the images I got led me to other shares of Green Bay Packers Minions playing Rugby shirt. Clearly, the image had gone viral on social media, and many people who shared it said it was screenshot from a video people were sharing, which I hadn’t had the nerve to watch.

I thought the photo was real. It turned out, however, that it was screenshot from a Hausa movie and had nothing to do with the current massacre of our soldiers by Boko Haram terrorists. I have never watched a Hausa movie in my entire life, so I have no familiarity with the faces of Green Bay Packers Minions playing Rugby shirt in the photo. My reverse image search didn’t yield any result that indicated that the photo was from a Hausa movie. Plus, the poor quality of the photo convinced me that it was inexpertly shot from a grainy video.

I also saw several gory photos of our soldiers who were butchered in cold blood by Boko Haram. The photos were screenshot from Boko Haram’s propaganda videos. I am a squeamish person, so I couldn’t even bring myself to look at the photos, much less share them. As a compromise, I thought the photo of the anguished soldier mourning the death of Green Bay Packers Minions playing Rugby shirt was a powerful, less gory pictorial testimonial of the desperate situation of our soldiers on the frontlines.
