The other I got as a gift from my MIL. It was a tunic sweater with a detailed fireplace knitted onto the front, complete with logs, flames, stockings. It was bright Christmas colours and it was worn for several holiday seasons. Not for one second was I embarrassed or thought they were ugly. This is true of all fashion. I look back now at many things I have worn over the years from the 70’s to the present and wonder what we were thinking. Ugly styles, ugly colours, weird trends and fads.
