Each flight is equal to normal activities for a year? thats nothing. fighting over this is pointless. there will be 10 billion people on the planet by 2050. Some estimates are lower, some ar higher, but its going to be close to that Hot Funny Buffalo Plaid Christmas Santa Claus Ho Ho Ho Meme sweater. Every one o those people is going to contribute much, much more to climate change and destroying the environment than a flight around the world. No one will even address the devastating affects of such a massive population with almost every one of them trying for a higher quality of life. Can’t blame them for that, but this petty nonsense about travel means nothing in the long-run.

Jessie Patricia Cusanelli Well, doing a little research now, and it seems I’m wrong. I see my mistake though. I got that off a carbon footprint calculator a while back. Entered my data, and then included a flight I took in that Hot Funny Buffalo Plaid Christmas Santa Claus Ho Ho Ho Meme sweater and it roughly doubled my carbon impact. But since I was living with a few room mates cutting down per capita heating/energy, pretty much biked to get around, it’s not accurate to say it’s the equivalent of the emissions of a typical person. I’m going to make a correction in the OP.
